Program Description
The Winston Way home is located in New Gloucester, Maine. The home is a duplex designed for four individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, two on each side. Individuals in this home have their own bedrooms. Consumers are staffed 24-7 with 3 to 4 staff on during peak awake hours and 2 overnight awake staff.
One side of the home is run under the whole life program. The other side has someone that is retired and the other one attends a day program.
Consumers in this home are working on a variety of independent living skills and being part of their community. Staff assists with cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, and organizing. As well as coordinating outside service provider appointments, including vocational rehabilitation services.
